Faye Cruz
Faye Cruz is an Art Director and Designer living and working in New York City. Using her modern design aesthetic and expert marketing skills, Faye brought the vision of Mecene to life. With full creative authority, Faye designed the brand identity for our initial launch.
Originally from San Francisco Bay Area, Faye graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Art History and Media Studies. With agency and in-house creative experience, she has a comprehensive understanding of online and offline brand communications, specializing in art direction, graphic design, and holistic brand solutions.
Faye has utilized these skills to rebrand prestigious luxury brands such as Zo Skin Health and Alexis Bittar. One such rebrand for Westman Atelier resulted in a 400% increase in sales. She has designed stand-out brand identities for the likes of Pixel, optimized the customer experience for Ace & Everett, and collaboratively designed packaging and product images for Rent the Runway.
Despite her busy schedule, Faye still manages to give back to her community with her #DoGood painting series. She started the series in March 2020, to help raise funds for various Covid-19 relief efforts, BLM, and other social injustices and inequalities. Faye creates custom paintings in exchange for a donation to an organization of the donor’s choice. Each painting is unique and plays with shape and color to create an abstract interpretation of their chosen word for inspiration.
Most recently, Faye has joined the King & Partners team as a Senior Art Director. Known for their eclectic marketing delivery of global brands such as Kate Spade, Skims, Good American, and Outdoor Voices, Faye is sure to continue delivering her digital expertise worldwide.
