We collect this information from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from our service providers and advertising partners.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information, including to: provide and improve the Services; process payments; fulfill and ship orders; manage subscriptions and accounts; handle returns; provide customer support; send transactional messages, and newsletters, product news, offers, event invitations and other marketing about our products and those of our affiliates, by email, text message or mail; show you ads on the Services and on other websites; measure and analyze how the Services are used; develop, train and improve our products, services and models, including artificial intelligence and machine-learning models; create aggregated or de-identified information and use it for any purpose; prevent fraud and secure the Services; comply with law; enforce our terms; and for other purposes we describe when we collect the information.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Shopify, which hosts the Services (see "Relationship with Shopify" below).
- Service providers that perform services for us, including payment processing, order fulfillment and shipping, subscription billing, email and text-message marketing, product reviews, customer support, tax and accounting, data analytics, and IT and cloud services.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
We and third parties, including Google and Meta, use cookies, pixels, web beacons and similar technologies on the Services to collect information about your activity on the Services and elsewhere on the internet. These third parties use that information to provide measurement and analytics services and to target and deliver ads, including ads based on your prior visits to the Services. We use Google Analytics; you can learn how Google uses this information at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info, manage ad personalization in your Google settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features of the Services, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without cookies.
We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Where a law that applies to us requires it, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser that sends it.
Relationship with Shopify
Shopify hosts the Services and collects and processes personal information about your use of the Services to provide and improve them. Information you submit is transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located outside the country where you live. Shopify also uses information about your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced features, and for those purposes Shopify is responsible for the processing. You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and make requests about Shopify's processing at privacy.shopify.com.
Third-Party Websites
The Services may link to websites and platforms operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy or security practices or their content. Information you share on public or third-party platforms may be viewable by others.
Security and Retention
No security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information, including while it is in transit to us. How long we keep personal information depends on factors such as whether we need it to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified information may be kept without time limit.
Your Choices and Rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email. If we send you marketing text messages, you can reply STOP to stop them. We may still send you messages about your orders and account.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you rights over your personal information, such as rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of it, or to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. These rights are not absolute, and we may decline a request as the law permits. To make a request, email support@mecenemarket.com. We may need to verify your identity, and an authorized agent acting for you must provide proof of authorization. Depending on where you live, you may be able to appeal our decision by contacting us.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and give any other notice the law requires.
Earlier Versions
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected on or after its "Last updated" date. Personal information collected before that date remains subject to the privacy notice in effect when it was collected, unless you agree, in writing or through a form we provide, to apply this one.
